Jules Bouillet is well recognized as one of the finest wood carvers of our time. His hand cast, hand painted decoys are considered the finest, most authentic decorative decoys on the market today. Jules is internationally recognized for his realistic life-size wood carved sculptures of waterfowl and birds of prey. Many of these magnificent sculptures are in museums and private collections worldwide. Each of Jules' decoys is individually hand-cast in an artwood medium especially chosen to reveal all the "burned in" detail of his basswood originals. Each decoy is then hand-painted to perfectly depict the live bird. Decoys are life-size and available in over 50 species. Miniatures (approx. 7" long) are also available in the most popular species. Popov's is proud to have represented Jules' decoys for over 30 years.
