DeBrekht follows the rich traditions of old school Russian painting to create one-of-a-kind works of art featuring santas, angels, animals and Russian dolls. The DeBrekht artists have worked together as a creative group for many years, developing their artistic process and educating themselves in eastern European decorative art techniques passed down to us from ages past. Each DeBrekht figure is first hand carved by a master carver and then molds are cast from the original carving, both the original and the castings are entirely painted by hand, making each piece unique. Every designer, artist-carver and artist-painter uses his or her individual skill to add uniqueness to each piece for you to enjoy. The original carvings are part of the masterpiece collection, while the castings are part of the Derevo collection. Popov's is proud to showcase both original and Derevo pieces.

Derevo

Each Derevo piece is hand cast from a mold made from one of the original masterpiece wood carvings and then every Derevo piece is hand painted, which brings the unique quality and artistry to each individual piece.
